Military accommodation Alp Scheidwegen

The Alp Scheidwegen military accommodation is situated at 1,480 metres above sea level, nestled amidst the unspoilt mountain landscape of the Simmental, and offers a unique experience of nature far removed from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. This rustic self-catering accommodation sleeps up to 98 people and is ideal for school groups, clubs, scout groups and nature camps. The lodge is deliberately kept simple – there is no mains electricity, and lighting is provided by a generator. In June and September, alpine livestock graze on the Alp Scheidwegen. Two large dining rooms, a rustic kitchen, an outdoor playground and a fire pit provide the perfect setting for unforgettable camp weeks. In summer, hikes and mountain tours start right from the house, whilst in winter the Jaunpass ski area, as well as cross-country skiing and snowshoe trails in the surrounding area, offer a variety of experiences.
