The La Piana Scout Centre is idyllically situated in the woods of Monte Generoso, above Mendrisio, and offers the ideal setting for group stays close to nature. The Monte Generoso railway line runs past the front of the building, so it is only suitable for groups with very young children to a limited extent. The rustic stone house sleeps 28 and is ideal for scout groups, school classes, clubs and hiking groups. A cosy dining room, a well-equipped kitchen, a fire pit and a large outdoor playground provide the perfect conditions for unforgettable camps. Trips to the observatory on Monte Generoso, to Swissminiatur or to Lake Lugano promise exciting experiences in Ticino.
