The old Pfründhaus in the middle of the idyllic village centre of Guttet-Feschel looks back on an eventful history. After its construction in 1823 as a typical log building, it served as a residence for the village priest until 1918, then as a school building for over half a century and finally as the Guttet municipal administration from 1971 until the merger of Guttet and Feschel. The building has been empty since 2000.
A project group was set up to plan and realise a gentle renovation so that the premises could be put to good use again. Thanks to a comprehensive interior refurbishment and a skilful combination of old and new, the Pfründhaus now has a modern look and is ideal for booking as family and group accommodation or as a seminar and meeting venue. The original character has been retained and the building blends harmoniously into the historic village centre. The Pfründhaus has been open to the public for events and overnight stays since 2012
