The charming group house, Villa Foree, with a great deal of character, is situated in an almost completely fenced-in garden on the edge of Kandersteg, close to the Kanderbach. It is separated from this by a quiet access road with no through traffic.

The skiing area Lauchernalp is ideal for free-riders. The highest hiking route (over 3000 m above sea level), where you can sea 40 four-thousand-metre mountains, is located on the Lauchernalp.
