Enjoy your holidays in the Aletsch Arena - Riederalp in the dreamlike alpine hut Planier! The quiet alpine hut is located in the middle of the Aletsch area and is ideal for families with children or groups of friends up to 5 people who want to spend an unforgettable time in the Valais. In summer, the area attracts with beautiful hikes, the Aletsch glacier and the proximity to the Goms.
The hut was modernised in 2017 and has electricity and water.

Together, they offer 104 runway kilometres.

Not accessible by car (WINTER
The alpine hut "Planier" is NOT accessible by car in winter. The forest road leads from Riederalp to Oberried past the hut and is prepared as a winter hiking trail. The day skis and ski boots are set up in the evening at the Riederalp Mitte mountain station in its own ski depot (heated room). Then it's off to the hut on snowshoes or touring skis. The next morning you hike up to the ski depot (approx. 35 min.).)
