The Schloss Burgdorf Youth Hostel combines a unique castle experience with modern comforts and is situated at the highest point of Burgdorf’s historic old town. The castle invites guests from near and far to actively experience the history of the Zähringer and Kyburg families, the Bildungsmacher and the Bernese bailiffs. This exceptional accommodation can accommodate up to 115 people and is ideal for school groups, clubs, families, seminars and group trips. Guests stay in individually designed rooms within the castle, which is over 800 years old. Several historic halls, seminar rooms, a rose terrace and modern facilities including Wi-Fi and a projector provide the perfect setting for a wide variety of events. The rolling hills of the Emmental, the charming old town and numerous walking and cycling trails make the castle a special destination for a day out at any time of year.
