Engstligenalp-Adelboden
The skiing area Engstligenalp-Adelboden is sure of snow from December to the beginning of May due to its height.
It is also a popular starting point for ski and snow-shoe tours up the Ammertenspitz, Wildstrubel and Tierhörnli.

by bus (From Frutigen you can take the bus to Adelboden and at the bus stop Oey you have to change to the local bus, which goes directly to Unter dem Birg. The valley station of the Engstligenalp cable car is also located there.)

Not accessible by car (Ride to the cable car station Unter dem Birg. From the top station you have to walk about 20 minutes to the hut. In winter, however, it is possible to have your luggage brought to the hut by a snow groomer or snowmobile.)

Das Haus ist gut im Schuss, einzig könnte man vor Bezug des Hauses darauf aufmerksam machen, dass die Elektroöfen viel Strom brauchen und ev ein Vorschlag in welchem Zimmer wie viel eingestellt werden sollte....
