The former mill was converted into the current Le Moulin Cudrefin scout centre in the 1990s. Electricity is generated by the building's own photovoltaic system, hot water is heated by solar panels and the heating is powered by an air exchange heat pump.
The Le Coulin Cudrefin scout centre is the ideal place for camps, school classes and training courses for groups of up to 30 people.

Das Haus war nicht sehr sauber. Ich konnte das Haus nicht anschauen, da die Verwalterin neu weit weg wohnt und nur noch selten in Cudrefin ist. Die Verwalterin war auch nicht anwesend, als wir ankamen, der Schlüssel war nicht gelegt. Das Haus ist extrem hellhörig! Die zwei 10er Schläge sind nur durch Schränke und nicht durch eine Wand getrennt. Unangenehm, wenn man jedes Wort voneinander versteht.

Etwas störend war für uns das Licht, das auf Bewegung reagierte. Sonst alles sehr funktional und gut.

Das Haus liegt in einer Nachbarschaft, aber es sind meiner Meinung nach sehr tolerante Nachbarn. 32 Betten vorhanden, Duvets und Kissenbezug ist alles da. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und erlaubt auch Gutes zu kochen. Ideale Grösse des Gruppenraumes, bei Präsentationen gibt es Wände für den Beamer. Die Hütte ist besenrein und die Erwartungen sind deshalb auch nicht sehr hoch (wir haben auch schon ganz anderes erlebt...). Die Hüttenübergabe und Abgabe lief reibungslos, Französisch muss man im Waadtland aber ein wenig können. Alles in allem tiptop und gerne wieder!
